About our partnership with Welcome TLC
Welcome Toledo Lucas County Initiative (TLC) is a cross-sector network housed in the Toledo Lucas County Public Library, supported by the City of Toledo Human Relations Commission and Lucas County Board Commission. We work to build a more welcoming and inclusive community for newcomers and people of diverse cultures that supports a vibrant civic, economic, and social fabric for all. Through collective efforts between the Welcome TLC team and city-county local government, the City of Toledo and Lucas County received the certification as Welcoming City and County by Welcoming America.
Work Group!
Welcome TLC is governed by a Steering Committee and organized by four Working Committees: Community Outreach, Legal Services, Language Access, and Workforce and Economic Development.
